• Experienced Coffee Barista who has worked recently as a Barista

• Completed a barista course

• The position would suit uni student or those wanting to work a variety of hours per week. 

• Must be able to adjust the grind and be able to handle high volume without dropping in quality.

• Being able to use the headset ordering system is an advantage. 

• Must be available to work most Saturdays, Sundays, and be flexible on weekdays. 

• Able to start work at 5.15 am 

• We take pride in welcoming regular customers by having their drinks ready and waiting for them when they get to the counter or drive-thru window. 

• Local or own transport is a must. 

• Conditions and other duties will be discussed at the interview. 

• Juniors are welcome.

Position Vacant - Assistant Cook

Location: Capalaba, Brisbane, QLD

The Opportunity:

Casual Cook role, 3-4 weekdays (15-20 hours, 5:45 AM starts), with potential for part-time. Produce high-quality dishes for breakfast, lunch, catering, and specials.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage preparation, cooking, and dispatch for all orders. Maintain stock control and rotation. Strictly adhere to all food safety and health regulations. Uphold high kitchen cleanliness standards.

About You (The Ideal Candidate):

Passionate, highly dedicated professional who can consistently deliver premium food. Must be calm, collected, and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Essential qualities include: excellent communication, efficient independent work within a team, exceptional work ethic, proactive attitude, and flexibility for early starts.

Essential Requirements:

• Min. 2 years' recent Cook experience in a similar fast-paced environment.

• Proven capacity to thrive under pressure.

• Possession of 'I'm Alert in Food Safety' certificate (Redland City Council).

• Available weekends (to cover leave) and 5:45 AM weekday starts (3-4 days/15-20 hours total).

• Ability to commence work immediately.

• Hold permanent residency or be an Australian Citizen.

Highly Desirable (but not essential):

Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
