The position would suit uni student or those wanting to work a variety of hours per week.
Must be able to adjust grind and be able to handle high volume without dropping in quality.
Able to use headset ordering system an advantage.
Must be available to work most Saturdays, Sundays and flexible on weekdays.
Able to start work at 5.15am
We take pride in welcoming regular customers by having their drink ready and waiting for them when they get to the counter or drive-thru window.
Local or own transport a must.
Conditions and other duties will be discussed at interview.
Juniors are welcomed.

Position Vacant - Cook/ Assistant Cook

We are looking for an experienced Chef/Cook/ Assistant Cook to help us maintain our high service at our busy cafe and drive thru at Capalaba.
The successful candidate will produce high quality meals from our breakfast/lunch/catering menu, with rotating specials. Previous experience in a commercial kitchen working independently but can also work efficiently in a team environment.
This is a casual position to begin due to the current climate, but with the possibility to move to full/part time.
You will need to be passionate and dedicated to consistently produce a high standard of product and have a calm approach with the ability to prioritise under pressure and at times in a fast paced, demanding environment. As part of a team and must be able to work well with front of house staff.
We are a 7 day cafe and do not operate at night, therefore no split shifts and you will usually be heading home no later than 2:00pm.
You will be responsible for:
Maintaining operations around preparation, cooking and delivery of the Café’s daily menu, drive thru menus and catering menus.
Assist in Menu creation and costing (alongside the owner of the business)
Stock rotation and food safety Maintain effective, profitable stock control daily
Maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen
Ordering and inventory management/stock control
Ensuring the compliance with relevant food safety, health and safety and other statutory regulations.
To be considered for the role, you must meet the following requirements:
Minimum 2-years recent experience in a similar fast paced role
Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Preferred)
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Must be an early person and flexible with shift hours
Have a great work ethic
Available to work weekends
Live locally in Capalaba
Must be available for 6am starts
Available to start immediately
No commitments that might affect your ability to work
Have permanent residency or are an Australian Citizen

We are looking for someone to join our team on a long-term basis, therefore if your resume is full of 3 or 6 month stints at venues you most likely won't be successful.
